Licensed Midwife: Diane Albright, L.M.
Diane is licensed in accordance with Chapter 467 of the State of Florida Statutes. This law and her education are patterned after the European model of maternity and midwifery care and permit her to be the primary care provider for normal, healthy pregnant women. She has served many families in the Central Florida area over the past 13 years and assisted approximately 800 babies into this world. She has had a homebirth practice and owned/operated 2 birth centers during this time.
Diane’s approach to pregnancy and birth is that it is a natural event that a woman’s body is perfectly designed for. She is the proud mother of 5 grown children and 5 grandchildren who help to keep her on her toes and youthful!
Medical Manager: Shannon Sepulveda, Licensed Practical Nurse
Shannon’s expertise and enthusiasm endears her to patients as soon as she meets them. She has worked as a nurse and birth assistant for over 8 years attending home births as well as birth center births. Additionally, she has a background in pediatric nursing for special needs children. It is quite obvious when you have contact with her that she is passionate about childbirth and women’s health. She is also a JuicePlus Distributor and helps to educate the community about the importance of good nutrition. Shannon is the mother to 3 fabulous boys, all born at home and is expecting the newest edition to her family in April 2011.
Licensed Midwife: April Williams, L.M.
April graduatedfrom The Florida School of Traditional Midwifery in Gainesville in the fall of 2009. She has a loving heart and gentle hands! It is her goal to use her midwifery training in the mission field in the future. Her daughter was born at home in May 2008. She loves being a mom and helping other women bring their children into the world. She is expecting the newest edition to her family in September 2010.
Administrative Manager: Nicole McGonnell
Nicole is the oldest daughter of Diane Albright, L.M. Her strong organizational skills and marketing background are a welcome asset to our team. Nicole handles all the insurance claims and financial arrangements with our clients. She also assists at births when needed. Helping women during this sacred event is a strong passion of Nicole’s. Nicole is the mother to 2 boys, ages 10 and 4, both born naturally.
Volunteer: Katrina Despinos
Katrina Despinos is a University of Central Florida Pre-nursing student. She aspires to become a Midwife some day and volunteers with us at All Bright Beginnings on a regular basis. She is very ambitious and believes in going after what you feel is right in life. She believes in giving mothers and other family members the option to be involved during the births and can’t wait to bring babies into this world.
